This study explores the spatial inequality of job accessibility in urban China, focusing on geographical skills mismatch Shanghai. Our results suggest that should be a critical concern measuring because villages create residential sites for low-skill workers central Based index considering mismatch, floating population has high periphery area there are affordable housing prices. The distribution registered population's still follows core-periphery pattern. between centers and populations might enlarge segregation them. path analysis reveals housing/rent market, structure, education attainment collectively shape through segregation. Furthermore, manifests high-skill people, mainly living area, have significantly higher accessibility. polycentric development fails to self-contained people. Future policies pay attention connecting their markets public rental or improving transit system.
